What Pixetools is
Pixetools is a collection of free online tools for everyday image work: removing backgrounds, compressing, resizing, converting, cropping, rotating, building PDFs from photos and stripping hidden metadata. It is built for people who just want to get a task done, whether you are a student, a shop owner, a blogger, a designer or someone trying to meet an upload limit.
Why it exists
Many online image tools upload your files to a server, add a watermark, hide the full-size download behind a paywall or bury the page in pop-ups. We think basic image jobs should be fast, free and private. Modern browsers are powerful enough to do the work on your own device, so that is how every Pixetools tool works. Your images are not uploaded to our servers.
Who is behind it
Pixetools is created and maintained by Ayman Almuhaimeed, an independent developer. You can reach him directly at ayman@pixetools.com or through the contact page. Bug reports, feature requests and corrections are welcome, and they genuinely shape what gets built next.
How we write the guides
Our articles aim to answer one question properly. When a claim can be measured, we measure it: for example, the file-size numbers in our compression guide come from our own tests in Chrome. We say what we tested, we avoid promising results we cannot verify, and we update articles when things change. The full approach is described in our editorial policy.
How the site is funded
Pixetools is free to use. To cover hosting and development time we may display advertising in the future. If we do, ads will be clearly separated from content, they will not sit inside the tools’ workspace, and our privacy and cookie policies will describe them. We do not sell your images or your data, because we do not receive your images.
What you can expect from the tools
- No account and no watermark.
- Processing on your device, with no image upload.
- Honest limits: files up to 25 MB, and very large photos are scaled down on phones.
- Results that are good for everyday use. For print-shop-grade work or batch automation, a dedicated desktop application is the better choice.
